| The Province of Turin
has organized during recent years a series of initiatives
(meetings, seminars, conferences) in order to deepen the
knowledge on local development issues concerning its own
territory. These activities match with the role of Responsible
Subject that the Province of Turin carries on for eight
Territorial Pacts. The same activities are included in
the tasks and responsibilities list established by the
Disciplinary for Responsible Subject.
These experiences, which have proved
to raise interest, favouring meetings and involving
local development different actors, give rise to the
project of a wider and more articulated initiative:
the local development Expo.
It is necessary to be ready to
catch the future law and market opportunities in order
to increase the competitiveness of our territories.
An exchange of good praxis, and shrewd attention to
the relations with the main operators of local, national
and international development become indispensable in
this context.
Starting from this consideration, we intend to create
the occasion for:
